This world map doesn't just contain geographical points: it also contains people. Each marker represents someone who was part of the University of Vigo and who is today leaving a mark in different corners of the world.
From here, from our classrooms, we have seen how knowledge, ideas and dreams travel far. Because being part of this institution does not end with graduation: it is the beginning of a journey that knows no borders.
Explore the map, discover where our Alumni members are... and see that, from this university in Vigo, you can reach any part of the world.
"I want to congratulate you on the launch of the UVigo Alumni Community project that will strengthen the interrelationship between the University and society. It is important to attract talent to the campus, motivate students and make them protagonists of business reality. Companies must focus their interest on the opportunities that the University can provide. It can also be the center of a high-level coworking in our city."
It seems to me a really interesting project, and very much based on the philosophy of the most advanced universities in the United States... Count on my collaboration in whatever you may need, I am truly passionate about my work and being able to share experiences is very rewarding.
I would be delighted to be able to belong to this new community. I could contribute my experience since I graduated as a nurse in 2000, then went abroad to work (Italy and France) and all the obstacles encountered when I returned to Spain in 2007. These are the ones that have led me to temporarily put aside my professional career as a nurse and focus on the development of a small company in the world of catering.
Of course I believe in this project, in fact I consider that it should have been underway for a long time. I believe that a student who goes through a University and obtains a degree should always remain linked to that University, in fact I have always considered myself linked and partly as something of common property of which I had a small piece.
