Pablo Rodriguez Torres:
Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo, I am the founder and creative director of the REIZENTOLO brand, which was born in the classrooms of the faculty with the idea of making design highlighting the popular culture of Galicia. Currently, REIZENTOLO is a recognized brand and reference for an entire generation of Galicians, and has generated more than 25 direct jobs and 7 own locations in Galicia. Among other recognitions, it has won the award for the best Galician Franchise concept, the Xoan Manuel Pintos award for commitment to the Galician Language, the Expopress award for Cultural dynamization in Galicia. He recently published the book “20 Anos de reizentolo” (Editorial Galaxia, 2023).

Raquel Gomez Villar:
Graduated in Biology from the University of Vigo, the root of the firestorm that devastated Galicia in October 2017, she participated together with her current partner in the UVIGO Incuvi Emprende program, in which they matured their business idea. In December 2019, they formed “SomosTerra”, a cooperative that aims to educate, raise awareness and involve different agents of society to activate sustainability in the territory. Their project has grown little by little and for three years it has been their main source of income, working on various training and outreach projects. They are currently working on a new project to create an edible forest to promote agroecology through a social inclusion and volunteering program.

Valentina Marta Rodriguez:
Her love of languages led her to study Translation and Interpreting at the University of Vigo, which, combined with her interest in medicine, made her a medical translator. With her work, she claims the use of Galician and Spanish as languages of science and contributes to their development. She translates for important pharmaceutical laboratories and specializes in the field of rare diseases, making patients who suffer from them visible and thus trying to improve their quality of life through translated medical literature. She combines translation with research and teaching, where she transfers this knowledge so that students can learn firsthand how the real translation market works.

Javier Cebreiros Fernandez:
Graduated in business administration and management, and with a master's and doctorate in Communication from the University of Vigo. As a communicator and teacher, he is convinced of the potential of our youth and culture and is one of those who knows about the academic or business capacity of Galicia. Tired of receiving for years the perverse advice of "you would do better in Madrid" or hearing young people tell me "I will have more opportunities abroad", he found his purpose years ago: to positively impact the next generation. In addition to his extensive curriculum and authorship of several books on communication, his involvement in the ENSAIA project is worth highlighting. which is currently having a great social and cultural impact and through which it is promoting the visibility of talent existing in the youth of Galicia. ENSAIA. is a social movement that, with a long-term vision and thanks to the donations of over a hundred people who make up the community, awards scholarships to young talents with ideas that have a social, cultural or economic impact in Galicia.

Carlos Spuch Calvar:
With a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Vigo, he is currently a R4 Researcher and PI of the Translational Neuroscience Group of the Institute of Health Research of Southern Galicia (IIS-Galicia Sur) and of the GCV17/SAM1 group of CIBERSAM. He is the author of more than 90 articles and book chapters, more than 250 communications and 6 patents among many informative and educational activities. He teaches in the Master's Degree in Nutrition at the University of Vigo and in the Master's Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Vigo. He is director and professor of the Continuing Education course: Are we what we eat? How nutrition affects our health in the CHUVI and CHOU hospitals.

Patricia Garcia Gonzalez:
With a degree in English Philology from the University of Vigo, Patricia is passionate about training. At university she dreamed of becoming a teacher but soon discovered her interest in the business world. That is why she co-founded Femxa, an entity specialized in consulting and training for employment aimed at employed and unemployed workers, companies, public administration, consultancies, professional offices and training centers. The company's values contribute to guaranteeing and increasing in a sustained and continuous manner the satisfaction of clients, interest groups and stakeholders with whom they interact daily. She actively collaborates with different associations such as Novos Empresarios (AJEGalicia) and was the first female president of the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia.

Veronica Codesido Sampedro:
Graduate and PhD in Biology from the University of Vigo, after several years as a researcher in several European institutions, she joined the private company Phytoplant Research (Córdoba) as a genetic improver of Cannabis sativa for medicinal purposes. 4 years ago she co-founded her own company, MIFCO Biosciences (Antequera), of which she is responsible for cultivation. The company focuses on the in vitro cultivation of medicinal Cannabis, and boasts of having obtained one of the few licenses granted by the Spanish Medicines Agency to work with this species.

Oscar Penin Romero:
Graduated in History from the University of Vigo, he has more than 20 years of work experience in the private sector (F. Novoneyra, Stoa, ruralisto.org) and in the public sector (UVigo, LAB-PATC, MusArquOurense, AHPOU). He was awarded the 2019 Culturgal Prize for his project “Festival Eidos”, mentioned by the French government for good practices in European projects within the framework of the “LitFest” project and nominated by the Formigueiros-Courel Association for the “Tesera de Hospitalidade do Courel” for his contribution to the development of the territory. He is currently a contracted researcher in the UVIGO rurAllure H2020 project, where he has carried out a large amount of transfer, being coordinator of the social and cultural projects of the Ourense campus: ALDEARMOS and PEDRA, festa do saber.

Maria Calvo:
Graduated in Marine Sciences from the University of Vigo, shortly after graduating she founded Arenaria Coordinación, an entity in which she continues to remain as manager and sole administrator. She is mainly dedicated to the social communication of science, in general terms and in particular to the dissemination of information about the marine environment and protected natural spaces. Arenaria is one of the companies adhering to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism and was recently accepted into the state ecotourism club (SoyEcoturista.com) through the National Park. She collaborates as a mentor in the SELF-EMPLOYED mentoring program of the Xunta de Galicia.

Dr. Mónica Carrera Mouriño:
Senior Scientist at IIM-CSIC, Vigo (2020). Degree in Biology (UVigo, 1996-2000) and Dr. in Biology (UVigo, 2008). Expert in Advanced Proteomics in Food Quality and Safety. Worked in Proteomics groups at IMSB Zürich, Switzerland (2008-2013) and Thermo Fisher Scientific, California, USA (2015). Principal Investigator of 12 Research projects. Published more than 110 scientific publications, author of 1 patent, registered 55 new proteins and presented more than 160 communications at conferences. Supervised several master's and doctoral students. Applies Proteomics techniques to the control, study and therapy of Food Allergens. Received 9 Research Awards.

Maria Luz Abeijón Vidal
Industrial engineer from the University of Vigo, she has worked in 3 leading industries (automotive, energy and oil), in 5 countries and leading international teams on 5 continents, which has led her to speak 4 languages. She was the only female and foreign engineer leader in her work team. She currently works in Houston, as a leading international expert in Quality Management in the oil industry. Throughout her career, she has mentored junior engineers and volunteered in non-profit organizations, providing them with both professional and personal support.

Bibiana Rodiño Janeiro:
Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Vigo. She is the founder and CEO of “BETA Implants”, an engineering company that was born in 2019 with the aim of designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing specific implants for traumatology, orthopedics and veterinary neurosurgery. Bibiana is a lover of R&D and the lean philosophy, a defender of gender equality and a believer that changes begin within oneself.

Martin Rodriguez Vazquez
Graduated in Primary Education from the Universiade of Vigo. His works have been exhibited in more than 50 film festivals around the world, in countries such as Greece, France, Colombia, Brazil or Argentina and was selected to participate in prestigious film festivals such as Málaga, Cans or Nocturna in Madrid. He has won several awards at film festivals, such as the Best Galician Short Film Award at the Fancine Festival of Lemos or Best Short Film at the Festitmage of Catalonia. Some of the music videos he made were broadcast on MTV and were selected among the best national music videos.

Andrea Ruzo Garcia
Graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo. She has been working for more than 12 years on the design and implementation of social and environmental sustainability projects around the world. After working with public and private organizations, in 2020 she co-founded FieldsData, an organization awarded by the Red Cross, which seeks to increase the transparency of the humanitarian sector. Selected by Banco Santanter as one of the leaders with the greatest potential of 2020, for a few months now she has been directing the ECOALF Foundation, an organization that seeks to raise awareness about the problem of marine litter and that with the help of more than 3200 fishermen from around the world has so far removed more than 1000 tons of waste from the ocean.

Belen Riveiro Rodriguez
Forestry Engineer and PhD from the University of Vigo. She was the principal investigator in several research projects in competitive national and international programs, published more than 80 scientific articles, and is the author of 7 patents (3 of them with exploitation contract). In 2017 she was awarded the Juan López de Peñalver Medal from the Royal Academy of Engineering in the Young Researchers Awards. She also received the 2006 Research Award from the Pontevedra Provincial Council in the Bachelor's Thesis and Final Degree Projects in Science and Technology category and the Accésit Award for the best R&D&I project within the call for Innovation Awards in Road Infrastructures of the Spanish Road Technology Platform.
